This
is Darklord. It is a mud (Multi-User Dimension). It is a text
based game that is on the internet. You have a character, and he
or she can be a templar, thief, warrior, cleric, mage, or monk. Each
class has different abilities. It's basically a Role Playing Game,
except on the internet, and no pictures. You type in stuff and your
guy does things. It sounds dumb, but it's fun.
You can
also be different races like elf, troll, giant, vampire, hobbit, etc.
All kind mythical-like creatures. You can go around and get powerful
weapons. And most importantly, you train your skills and level your
character so that you can become a badass, and you can kill anybody that
pisses you off.
My character's
name is Bipster. I am a troll templar. That is an odd combination,
but whatever. I am also a member of Thistledown, a town. There
are three towns, and sometimes they have wars. Some of my friends
play Darklord, and they go under the names of Rfive, Falcon, and Goten.
We have all rose together in the rankings, and have become decently good.
We are like the good middle level characters.
There
are also the high level characters that rip s--- up. Those guys are
Viking, Skull, Xar, Apollo, Rasputin, Crush, Holly, Mary and the list goes
on. Those are the high guys that come on the most though.
Since
I don't know what these guys look like, and since there are no pictures
in the game, I make up my own ideas of what these people look like.
Here's what I think they look like.
VIKING SKULL XAR APOLLO RASPUTIN CRUSH HOLLY MARY
Other Chars:
RFIVE
GOTEN FALCON
CAIN MADMAX ACARVA
PAYLAY
SInce
I already know what Rfive, Goten and Falcon look like in real life, that's
what they look like to me on the game.
If this
sounds at all interesting, check it out. You can use telnet (in the
RUN function of Windows) or you can download Zmud.
The address for Darklord is pody.westnet.com and the port is 5000.
If you
start up, don't piss off the high level guys, or they'll kill you.
It takes a few hours to get used to the game (and a few days to really
master the gameplay. And I'm talking a full 24 hours when I say days).
But once you do, it's fun.
