This is one good game.  It is one of the most fun games I have ever played.  There's just something about it that makes it very enjoyable.  It's just a simple side-scrolling shoot em up, but it still is very fun.
    I don't even know what the story is, but it's set in WWII times.  You choose from four different characters (all with the same abilities).  Two guys, from the original game, and two new girls.  I guess you're fighting these Nazi type guys like in the original, but at the end of the game, you learn that the Nazi guys have been working with aliens.  The aliens turn on the Nazi guys, and you both team up to kill the aliens.  In this game, there are new Slugs.  So not only do you get to use the old school tank, but also a camel, a robot frame thing, and a jet.  The graphics are very fun to watch.

    I like to use the girl character Eri.  I would use Marco, the original guy, but after beating Metal Slug 1, it's depressing to use him.  He throws the paper airplane at the end, and it flys by all the dead people...I just can't bring myself to using him.  I don't really like the other guy, and Mariel always uses Pio, so by process of elimination I use Eri.  But Eri kicks ass anyway.
