3-12

Welcome to the Bip Report.

"It's 4 o' clock"
Yes, it is late.  Very late.  But commitment.

"No Davis"
Thus ends my three week Davis streak.  Just when the Berkeley people were starting to like it.  They had plans to get John Wong to replace me, but I guess those fall through now, don't they.  That's right.

"Happy Birthday Carey"
Yesterday was Carey's birthday.  We celebrated today by going to Hot Pot City, Yakiniku style restaurant.  Much meat was consumed.  Also there were some Mangs, Lance and...crap.  Oh well, he don't get the Bip Report, so he won't mind that I forget his name.  Then we went to Priscilla's to give him a cheesecake I baked, and we played Taboo.

"Cheesecake"
Okay, cheesecakes are my area of expertise.  But I wasn't looking so expertise today.  I had the cheesecake part memorized, and made that part by memory.  However, I was too cheap to spring for the extra 3.50 to buy graham crackers.  I made the thing at Priscilla's band house kitchen.  So all supplies were there.  I figured to make a shortbread crust, that way, I wouldn't have to pay to make the crust.  Unfortunately, shortbread is NOT my area of expertise.  So I didn't quite remember that recipie all the way.  So the shortbread had just a tad too much butter in there.  Or not enough flour, pick your poison.  I baked the shortbread first, for 5 minutes, then put the cheesecake on top to finish baking.  I should have realized that the shortbread would not come out when we took it out after 5 minutes, and crap, the thing is all butterish.  But stupid me said, "Ah, that's just because I didn't refrigerate the dough.  It will turn out."  Yes, it turned out.  It turned out to be crap.  The butter apparently bubbled up and over, and pretty much worked the cheesecake, and everything else.  The end product was some sort of custardish (without that many eggs) mess.  Luckily, Priscilla's house chef let us use her other supplies to make another cheesecake.  And she had graham crackers.  So we remade the cheesecake.  And it came out the second time.  Phew.

"Taboo"
Clearly, me and Carey spend too much time on MUD, cause we were doing combos like, "You go to the sewer, and get this ring."  Me, "Silver."  Carey, "This is a banned race."  Me, "Vampire."  Me, "Jimantha likes to do this."  Carey, "Pickpocket."  But Taboo is a fun game.  I approve.

Okay, that's all for now.  Go look at my Episode One stuff for my page.  www.fortunecity.com/campus/clemson/870/  I spent helluva time on that sucker.  I'm looking for sympathy points.  Your only excuse is Spring Break.  Okay then.  Until next time, diamonds are forever, and so is Darth Maul.
