What time?  What time?  It's Bip Report Time!!!
Okay folks.  It's the Bip Report.  I'm thinking that since I've added
all these new people, I should make a little list of characters, and
general information.  So here we go.
The Cal Hawaii Crew:
Gayna Nakajo, Carey Lew, Greg Shimokawa, Kristine Kaibara - Punahou
'98 people.
Reese Yorimoto, Priscilla, Mona, Meriel-Iolani '98 people.
David Mun- is the one.  Mun is not really part of the group, but Mun
reports will often appear.
Cal Hawaii Club:
Scott Hirokane, Jon van Horn-2 previous Punahou alums.
Mike Yang-Iolani alum, and president of club.  His main objective is
to get all the freshmen to drink...at all times of the day.
Solomon-The big Samoan guy.
Miscellaneous Cal Folks:
Fang- My roommate, of whom much has been told, but this is "No-Fang
Week" so you'll have to wait for more Fang stories.
Cynthia-Gayna's suitemate, and friend to all.
Linda-Carey Lew's Norton Love, eight floor, left side!  counterpart,
and friend to all also.
Cynthia and Linda are like adopted Hawaii people, especially Cynthia.

Okay, that's character intros.  Now everyone is informed.  You should
memorize every person on that list.  To help you do this, I suggest
you write all those names on flashcards, with their info on the back,
and then test yourself to see whether you know each one.  That way,
when I talk about them, you can easily recognize everybody.

Onto the news.  I am attempting to make myself knowledgable to the
events of the world.  Actually, this is a requirement for my poli sci
class.  We are required to read intellectual type articles in the New
York Times and/or Wall Street Journal.  I'm thinking of buying some
intellectual glasses, and sitting in coffee shops reading these
articles, while sipping Double Lattes with Irish Creme Torrani liquer.
My area of interest, the stock market.  I'm actually thinking of
maybe majoring in economics, so learning that sort of stuff now, and
the goings on of the business world is probably a good thing.

In other news, Berkeley has been getting quite nippy as of late.  And
in this case, a Ryan Tanaka swear word is accurate.  It's like a
fridgin fridge.  I almost died outside yesterday.  You could tell I
was the Hawaii kid, with slippers, T-shirt, and board shorts, in like
50 degree weather.  Well, I didn't really have board shorts, but you
get the picture.  It was freezing.  I could see my breath and
everything.  I thought I could handle with my Korean experience, but
that was 6 years ago, and my body has somewhat adjusted itself to the
Hawaii climate in those 6 years.  So I'm back to square one.

I was so cold by the time I had English.  I decided to bust out the
Advanced Writing style on that class.  So I packed my little makeshift
afgan (a green blanket)  and went to class.  I camped out on the
ground, busted out my "afgan" and pretended to read Xeroxes, while
fellow HAWKS oohed and ahhed and clapped at my inane babble about food
and The Godfather.  Ah, the good old days...

The teacher didn't take too kindly to my actions.  She insisted I take
a seat, but I insisted I would like to stay on the floor.  I had to
justify my sitting on the floor by developing ideas and whatnot about
the readings.
Then she said "Get up punk, you cant sit there anymore"
So I rocked a vicious ryhme, like I never did before.
She said, "Damn, young Bip, you a crazy foo.
All the rappin legends must've been true."
I said "Thats right sucka, I dont mean to boast,
But I'm intercontinental when I eat French toast."
So I rocked the class in, I rock the class out,
I blew that mutha  -  sucka out.
I rap on,
baby bubba,
baby bubba to the boogy the bang bang the boogy said a rock,
you dont stop,
the Bip is sailing, I'm outta the dock.

Wait, never mind.  That never happened.
Well, I've wasted enough time for tonight.  Here again is my mailing
