Welcome to the Bip Report.
"Announcements"
Okay, I am coming back on May 23. This gives me a good 4 days of watching Star Wars in Berkeley, followed by X amount of watching it back home.
Second, I think the Bip Report on May 2 will be the last of the year. It will be a big luau wrap up. For this going out finale, maybe I will get such people as Scott Aoki, Christina Tom, and maybe whoever else will be here to write on the final one.
So the long year of Bip Reports will end that day. Mark your calendars. Undoubtedly it will be a day of much rejoicing and reveling as I finally stop clogging E-mails across the nation.
"Onaona - not dead"
In recent news, Onaona Miller is reportedly not dead. I for one feared the worst for Onaona when she vanished from Earth several months ago. But no, she is back, and better than ever.
"Luau"
We are getting it together for luau already. We are all good to go. We got the slap dance down like nothing else. The only thing that is holding us back is Eric's uncanny ability to not be able to tell beat. I have never seen anyone with as poor rythme as Eric. But Eric tries so we keep him in. Plus he is choke cut.
We got the food in, we got the outfits, the this and that. We got the script even. So we are all set for some decent luau action. Davis folks. You will not be disappointed. One of the characters in my script is based on none other than Zion. The other is a character we all know and love. But we will see that later.
"Scott Hirokane - New Idol"
Okay, every now and then, my mom likes to find one student that is exceptional. She then likes to compare me to that super student, and say, "Why can't you be more like _______?" Back in Korea, in grade school, that person was Michelle Toyofuku. When I came to Punahou, my Mom was forced to find a new person. Elizabeth Nguyen filled that role around Sophomore year, after my Mom somehow met her mom.
But Ziz, I am sorry. You have been replaced now by Scott Hirokane. After talking to Scott's mom about luau stuff, my Mom has decided that Scott is now the superior student, and I must follow in his footsteps. "You know, Daniel. Scott's mother says Scott studies very hard, you know. Why don't you study hard like that? He's doing really good. Maybe he should be example for you."
For the next three years, I expect to be compared to Scott Hirokane. For every victory Scott has, it will mean that I have to do better. Hella complain.
"Robotech Stuff"
Okay, skip this section if you are not Brian Taylor, Jay, or Joey. Possibly Scott Aoki. I got this Robotech tape called The Untold Story. The end is the most classic thing I have ever seen. This was a movie that was never released in theatres. I had to buy the tape off ebay, cause the only way to get this is through ghetto bootleg copies. It features the creator of Robotech, Carl Macek, getting all pissed off at the end about why this movie was not released. He is a salty man, and he is choke funny to laugh at. The series is not that bad, although it splices most of the action sequences from the Southern Cross. But there is a lot of new stuff too. Pretty good.
Okay, that's it for me. Until next time, diamonds are forever, and so are Onaona Reports.
