Welcome to the Bip Report.

"Luau"
We are getting all ready for the luau, and come May 1st, we will be rockin' the Pauley Pavillion.  Now we may not have any big name bands coming, such as Kapena to UOP.  But then again, we plan to have profits greater than the $3 expected at UOP.  Instead, we will be entertained by Hoi and Solomon, and the Mike Yang dancers.  We have some Samoan slap dance and Mike Yang dance down pat.  We are choke decent, except we suck for group timing.  Individually, we are strong, but not as a unit yet.  We have big Solomon, our 250+ Samoan teaching us the ways of being intimidating and such.  Mike Yang says that last year, Solomon almost made people in the audience cry, cause he was so frickin intense.  Every yell...that is power baby.  Every slap, like TNT going off.  He is, unfortunately not in the dance this year (cause no like make us look small, yeah?  Gotta look good for the ladies, huh Mike?), but still, he is coaching us through.  We get decently nuts for Samoan, with Elroy giving nice shouts, and Jon van Horn getting screwed up by me being off all the time.

"Shaina"
Shaina came today to play soccer against Cal.  I went to go watch a little, despite the fact that it was raining.  I expected someone else to be there.  Maybe (ah screw it already) Gayna, or Ward, or perhaps Carey.  But no.  I was the only one there.  Anyway, I got to see Shaina play.  And let me tell you.  That girl seriously represents for all of Punahou/Hawaii.  From what I gathered, she is the heart of this LMU team.  In the backfield, she is all yelling out instructions, and leading the team.  The ball comes her way, and ain't no way the other team (which would be us) is scoring.  You know Shaina is good when the crowd knows her name, and is saying "Alright Shaina!"  They don't know anyone else's name, and they are calling the other girls by number.  But not Shaina.  "Go number 7!  Yeah!  Alright 12!  Good job!  Nice play, Shaina!  Yeah Shaina!"  Like that.  There were like two girls that the crowd knew the name of, and that is Shaina and some forward, Amber that scored a goal.
So I don't know how the game ended up, but I saw LMU (Amber) score a goal, and that was the only scoring I saw.  I left at some kind of break, but I was unsure if it was halftime or game over.  Probably halftime, cause they were all putting on these fancy FILA sweats and going someplace in the maze of Memorial Stadium.

"Crowd Support"
Okay, I say that the only names I heard were Shaina and Amber.  What about Cal players?  They played at Cal, how come only LMU players get their names yelled?  Well let me tell you about the crowd.  First of all, when I came in, I doubled the Cal cheering section.  But really, I didn't care, and was cheering for LMU.  There were about 25 max. people from LMU.  They were cheering and had horns and stuff.  Pretty much, they were the crowd, giving homefield not to Cal, but to LMU.  This was kind of sad.  In all, I was there for like 10 minutes.  But it was nice to see Shaina play.  The weather was pretty much crappy, cause it was all rain.  Oftentimes, the ball would get stuck in rain holes, and Cal almost scored because of that.  But they didn't.  Cause Shaina is too dominant.

"Nice Ari Story"
Okay, I really liked Ari's story in the Bench Ohana.  That is possibly the most exciting adventure you can have.  I mean, Troy often has life and death struggles.  Tripton often has tales of rampant destruction.  Ken sometimes puts in a nice word about his crap school.  Jana sometimes gets hit by a car, or punches someone out in Mexico.  But I think Ari's was just the most entertaining real story I have ever read.  How many times do you have 7 black guys deliver a beat down, and get to watch, and even participate?  That is frickin nuts.  It would be even better if they had used various firehouse equipment to fight, such as fire hoses, fire extinguishers, ladders, and maybe slide down the pole, and kick the guy on the way down.
Okay, obviously, I have a very small grasp on reality, and probably don't understand the gravity of the situation.  But I liked the story nonetheless.

Okay, that is all for now.  Until next time, diamonds are forever, and so is firehouse brawls.
